Background: I am originally from West Belfast and came through the Gaelic education system. I completed a degree in Irish Studies and a Masters in research at the University of Ulster. I have been working in the Irish language community for the past few years on arts events and festivals, community development, awareness raising and lobbying.
Role: I am working with Conradh na Gaeilge as a Project Coordinator for Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia and awareness campaigns in the north, and I coordinate and promote Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia together with other awareness projects.

Jessy Ní Cheallaigh

Background: Jessy is from Dublin originally but was raised in County Cavan. She achieved her degree in Communications through Irish at Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge in Carraroe, Connemara and she has spent years working on projects to promote the Irish language.
Role: Jessy is the awareness campaigns and projects co-ordinator with Conradh na Gaeilge and as part of that is helping to organise Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia this year.

Orlaith Nic Ghearailt

Background: Orlaith is from Tipperary. She completed her masters in Scríobh agus Cumarsáid na Gaeilge in UCD, where she also studied Irish and German for her undergraduate degree.
Role: Orlaith manages Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia festival and overseas various Conradh na Gaeilge projects.

Seán Ó Murchadha

Background: Seán was raised in Monaghan agus he has a degree in Irish, History and Politics. He was previously an Irish language officer with Leitrim County Council and he has a diploma in Pleanáil Teanga.
Role: I support ciorcail comhráite in the community and promote the language amongst new speakers, who have little to no experience with the language
